This summer, SweetBay has partnered with Anchored Market Ventures to host a much-anticipated farmer’s market. Market Square at SweetBay brings fresh produce and handmade goods to the area, encouraging Bay County residents to support their neighbors and local vendors.
The grand opening on June 5th attracted hundreds of attendees, and many vendors sold out entirely. With over forty vendors selling everything from fruits and vegetables to hand-molded candles, Market Square was a runaway success. Popsicles and iced drinks kept shoppers cool as they strolled the market, perusing tasty treats and handmade wares. Live entertainment and delicious foods made the farmer’s market even more enjoyable, creating a fun and family-friendly atmosphere. Glitter N Glitz Facepainting kept the young ones entertained while parents shopped, sampling a wide variety of local foods from truck vendors like Melissa Kusina’s Filipino American Cuisine, Pressed, and Thai Chada Catering.
As the market continues to grow, Bay County residents can enjoy even more locally sourced items.
